Supporting cancer survivors at Hillcrest Corner

On Saturday 2nd of March, Hillcrest Corner shoppers were able to shave or spray their heads to show their support for cancer survivors at the CANSA Shavathon. It was a day filled with fun and excitement, with loads of our shoppers taking part, and various schools coming down to support the cause.

A huge congratulations is in order for Winston Park Primary School for bringing the most supporters to the Centre. They have won their school R1,000 in cash for their effort and commitment, sponsored by Hillcrest Corner!

A highlight of the day was when two very brave ladies shaved off their lovely long hair to donate to cancer survivors. We commend their commitment and thank them for their show of courage!

We would like to extend a very big thank you Mugg & Bean for sponsoring refreshments to all of our CANSA volunteers on the day, we appreciate the very kind gesture.

At the end of the day, Hillcrest Corner was able to make a sizeable donation to the CANSA Association. We would like to thank everyone who attended and look forward to an even bigger turn-out next year!
